Dad's New Camera, GoPro Wide Angle Helmet Cam

My dad got a new camera to mount on his helmet when we ride dirt bikes. It also works great for the pool since it's water proof. It takes video and pictures. We are still learning how to use it so the sound isn't good here, but it was our first test.

Little Moab Trip Report, June 2009

Here's some pics and video of me going crazy on my dirt bike! My dad didn't think I could climb the middle hill in this video, but I did!..after only one wreck going up. It was awesome. I had a good time at little moab with my family. I had a couple of wrecks that hurt pretty bad in the mud, but I still got back up and kept riding because it was so much fun. I really liked going into the mine too, and building our shelter.

New Pet ?

I found a big snail in our yard and "saved" it from being squished. I read up on the internet on what they need to live so I fixed up my aquarium for it. My sister found the other one and had a run in with our dog and got dropped and cracked it's shell. We are hopping it can do ok anyway. I am taking good care of them and they are fun to watch.

Swimming Pictures

I wanted my dad to post up these pics of us swimming today. I especially like the one of me doing a front flip into the pool! It was such a nice day today, we had to get outside for some fun! I even rode my dirt bike a little bit in the back yard to practice my turns, left and right. It was a fun day. I did hurt my back a little when I hit the water doing the flip, but I'm OK.

More Caineville Pictures and My New Bike, April 2009

Here are a few more pictures from our Caineville trip as well as a couple pics of my new bike after we brought it home and cleaned it up. Unfortunately I broke the brake lever at Caineville, so I'll have to order a new one, but the new bike worked great and it was really fun to ride.

Me Riding in Swingarm City, Near Caineville Utah April 2009

My KTM quit running this trip and we could never figure out why. We bought a brand new Yamaha TTR-110 after I had practiced on Brayden's Suzuki DRZ for the first few days. I really like the power of these bikes, but they are still a little bit big for me. Hopefully I will grow into my new bike pretty soon! I really liked going up the big hills and jumping. I went even higher on the hills than this video shows. I will have my dad post some pictures later of how high I went! Enjoy this video first then, Go to my dad's blog for even more pictures and video of the whole family! Blazeofgloryoffroad.com

Dirt Bike Riding Five Mile Pass, Easter Weekend

This weekend we went out to Five Mile Pass ATV area for our Easter holiday and to ride dirt bikes. For whatever reason, I ended up cutting my head again just like last Easter! This time it was on my head and not my ear though. I know, these pictures look way too familiar, but trust me they are from this year. I really enjoyed riding my KTM dirt bike around. We adjusted the clutch to give it a little more punch and it really made it fun! My favorite part was the berms(where dad broke his arm a while ago). My dad even followed me through holding the video camera in one had to get the video footage of me and Brayden riding through them...of course he was going much slower. We had a fun Easter egg hunt outside too. Brayden and I got roller blades and Hannah got a new doll. It rained on us a little Saturday afternoon, and me and my dad even went for a ride in the rain! It was fun, I love to ride! My bike really worked great and we are all so excited to go to Caineville in a couple weeks! Check out my dad's blog for more pictures and a full trip report.

Homemade Halfpipe

This weekend we finally built our halfpipe! We bought our supplies at Lowe's Saturday morning and had it almost complete by Sunday afternoon. We had the radio on in the back yard so we could listen to conference. All the materials cost less than $250 and I think it turned out really good. We got the plans for a skateboard mini ramp on the internet and followed them almost exactly. We did move it closer to the deck by making the platform on that side only one foot instead of 2 feet so we will be able to drop off the deck and onto the pipe when the railing is modified. The platform on the other side will be larger at 3 feet so we'll be able to ride on top easier. The plans said you can use skatelite for the top layer and it would last longer, but for around $9 a sheet we can replace the masonite really easy if it wears out. We still need to make the platforms and then paint the whole thing with a spar urethane. We still need to cover it with a tarp if it looks like rain though. Here are a few sweet pictures and a video!

Little Moab, 2-28-09, Dirt Bikes

Little Moab was sweet! It's really fun, but not as fun as Caineville. My dirt bike worked really good with the new clutch, I even did some slow speed rock crawling on it. The Dominator clutch in it makes it adjustable and we have it adjusted to be more off-road friendly. It still rips too, but not quite as fast as it does when the clutch lets the motor rev higher. I love to dirt bike and drove all over the place with my dad and brother. I even drove up and over the big hill to get to the bigger jumps! I had a lot of fun shooting the BB-guns too. We found some clay pigeons that had not been broken yet and shot them. We also went on a couple hikes.
